Amitabh Bachchan to pay 825 farmers of Uttar Pradesh debt.
Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, the veteran of the century, never returns to the responsibility of social service. Amitabh Bachchan has announced a second phase of his campaign to give relief to the farmers who have given a major step in the name of Big B.
In his blog, Amitabh has written about the arrangement for providing Rs.55 crores for the 80 farmers of Uttar Pradesh. This amount will be credited to the bank account of the farmers, however, the blog does not mention that when the work of rescuing the farmers of Uttar Pradesh will start.
Amitabh Bachchan's team is in touch with banks, from which farmers have taken loans. Team members said that about 80 farmers come from three districts of Uttar Pradesh. In the first phase, Amitabh took away the debt of farmers in Maharashtra in April this year.
In the second phase, Amitabh gave indications of financial help to the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, Amitabh has assisted farmers in debt waiver of farmers in Andhra Pradesh.
